The NewsChannel 9/Fox Chattanooga Sideline Wrapup Game of the Week is Marion County at Rhea County.

This is a non-region game, but both teams are fighting for playoff position in their respective divisions.

On Monday, a stop was in order to check on the Marion County Warriors.

They stand at (3-3) and welcome the chance to "step up" a few classifications in this Friday night tilt at the Golden Eagles place.

The two teams played last year, with Rhea County gaining the upper hand.

The Golden Eagles are also (3-3) this season and have dropped the last two games, including last Friday against Knox Catholic.

Coach Mark Pemberton pointed out they were ahead in all three losses, but penalties and turnovers did them in.

In their new offense, quarterback Zack Pemberton leads the way.

He's rushed for 655 yards and 13 touchdowns and thrown six touchdowns.

Bo Garmany has the most yards rushing among the three fullbacks in the new option system.

Coach Pemberton said, "We're running the option. We got to eliminate those turnovers. We got to eliminate the penalties. The penalties have killed us in crucial situations. And I got to coach 'em better."

Fox Chattanooga and NewsChannel 9 will have all of the Sideline Wrapup highlights and postgame reaction from our Game of The Week.

You can rely on us to have highlights from several other games and scores from a boatload of battles.
