Ole Glory came out flying on the back of a pretty horse ridden by a beautiful cowgirl.

The chilly rain dampened the crowd, but not the spirit.

The event is part of the Georgia High School Rodeo Association.

Ringgold High's Future Farmers of America helped pull it off at the Davis Cattle Farm off of Ooltewah-Ringgold Road.

The same action -- bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc, calf roping, team roping, barrel racing, and goat tying -- unfolds Saturday night.

Admission is only $5 for adults, children get in free.
