Investigators said the incident happened on Sept. 20 at the Artech Condominium complex on NE 188th Street.

The video shows a woman follow her dog, named Chasity into the elevator where she tries to shoo it away with her feet.

According to the police report , the tiny dog may have gone to the bathroom in the elevator and Wilson is scolding it.

The dog huddles and cowers in the corner as Wilson kicks it, according to police. The dog scurries to another corner of the elevator as the woman presses one of the buttons. She then attacks the dog again. The video shows her kicking it repeatedly. The elevator doors open and she walks out. The dog follows.

The dog is now in the care of Miami-Dade Animal Services for treatment.
