LAS VEGAS (KSNV NEWS3LV) - Newly released home surveillance video shows a car going up in flames the night of June 22.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says 40-year-old Sean Bryan was the driver inside the burning car.

Detectives are now looking for information into the gray SUV, seen in the video, pulling away from the fiery vehicle.

Clark County’s Coroner says Bryan died from a gunshot to the head. The burned body was found in a neighborhood near Smoke Ranch Road and Rainbow Boulevard.

Dani Patterson witnessed the aftermath from her front door. She says police retrieved surveillance images from her cameras, hoping this murder mystery is solved.

“I am not surprised because I found when you do go the police, even though I know their job is hard, it’s very difficult for them to solve crimes,” said Patterson.

Police also have determined a take-down robbery at the Five Star Tavern on the night of the murder is connected. The bar is only five minutes from where the body was found. Police say two masked men stole from customers.

Patterson says it’s more important these crimes are solved.

“I think anytime we get somebody that is dangerous off that street, we are all safe,” he said.
