WATCH: Chattanooga police officers return missing boy to mother Thursday afternoon

UPDATE (5:00pm):

Chattanooga police confirm they have found the missing 9-year-old Thursday afternoon.

Our SkyCam was rolling when police arrived and reunited the boy with his mother.

Police spokesperson Elisa Myzal says the boy was found uninjured on the 4900 block of Sarasota Drive in Hixson near Hamill Road.


Chattanooga police have confirmed they are looking for a 9-year-old child with autism Thursday afternoon.

Police are scouring the area of 5397 Wilbanks Drive in Hixson.

NewsChannel 9 has a crew on the way to the scene to gather more information.
