Police have charged a man with DUI after they say he crashed an ATV with a teenager on it.

Soddy-Daisy officers say they found Jimmy Holovacko and the 17-year-old when they responded to a crash call on the 12000 block of Dayton Pike Wednesday night.

The arrest report says Holovacko smelled like alcohol, and was slurring his speech.

When being looked at by an EMS worker, police say he grabbed the responder and pushed him away. The officer says Holovacko grabbed him as well when he stepped in.

At this point, the officer says he swept Holovacko's legs and brought him to the ground.

Police say he refused treatment and wouldn't listen to officers' orders.

Jimmy Holovacko has been charged with the following: resisting arrest or obstruction of legal process, child neglect by DUI, assault on police, assault on EMS, and driving under the influence.
