Restaurant owner killed in Polk County Wednesday night after motorcycle crash
COPPERHILL, Tenn. —
The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) says a motorcycle in Polk County struck another car Wednesday night, killing the motorcycle driver.
The THP says 46-year-old John Gorman was killed when his motorcycle crossed into the center lane and hit a vehicle.
It happened just after 8 p.m. on Highway 64. at the intersection of Forrest Service Highway.
A report from THP says Gorman was wearing a helmet. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were not injured.
An employee at the Ocoee Dam Deli and Diner, confirms to NewsChannel 9 that Gorman was the diner's owner.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
