DUNLAP, Tenn. -- A truck driver is recovering after firefighters had to rescue him from his cab after his big rig rolled over Monday afternoon.
The Dunlap Fire Department says the incident happened a little after 3 p.m. on Reynolds Road on Cagle Mountain.
The DFD says firefighters found an 18-wheeler with a dump trailer had rolled onto its side while trying to dump the load. The driver of the truck was pinned inside the cab.
Firefighters cut the steering wheel, and removed the top of the cab to gain access to the driver, and remove him from the truck.
The driver was transported by EMS to Erlanger Downtown. Right now we don't know how badly the driver was injured.
