Chattanooga police searching for two patients who escaped Moccasin Bend

Chattanooga police are trying to find two patients they say escaped from Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute Thursday afternoon.

Police are searching for 27-year-old Timothy Florence and 38-year-old William Foster, who left the facility around 4:50 p.m. Thursday.

CPD says Florence was in custody at Knox County Jail on theft charges before his transfer to Moccasin Bend.

Prior to his transfer, Foster was in custody at Bradley County Jail on charges of criminal impersonation and resisting arrest.

Both men have warrants through Hamilton County due to their departures from the hospital.

Florence and Foster were last seen wearing gray sweatpants and white shirts.
