Chattanooga police arrest 27-year-old suspect in attempted murder case

UPDATE (Friday):

Anthony Broome II, the suspect in an attempted murder on O'Neal Street, has been charged in a separate murder that happened on the same street over a year ago.

PREVIOUSLY (Thursday):

Chattanooga police have arrested a man they say tried to kill someone on O'Neal Street in April.

On April 30, police arrived on the scene of the 100 block of O'Neal Street after 46-year-old Sean Ware arrived in the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

On Thursday, police arrested and charged 27-year-old Anthony Broome II with attempted murder and aggravated assault.

Broome has been booked into Hamilton County Jail.
