I-24 at Ridgecut back open after tractor-trailer jackknifes early Friday

    All lanes were back open as of about 5:30 a.m.:

    Chattanooga dispatchers tell us one person was taken to the hospital.

    Our crew on scene says lanes are slowly opening as the semi truck is moved out of the road.

    The wrecker arrived at 1:35 a.m. to move the tractor trailer.


    Chattanooga dispatch confirms an accident involving a tractor trailer on I-24 WB at the Ridgecut early Friday morning.

    The accident was reported just after midnight.

    We're told the westbound lanes of the interstate will be closed for several hours.

    THP and TDOT are on scene, and a wrecker is on the way.

    Dispatch tells us crews were on scene overnight cleaning up gas and oil spilled in the accident.
