DICKSON, Tenn. (WZTV) — UPDATE: TMZ has since confirmed that Luke Perry's ashes were spread on his Vanleer, Tennessee farm, not buried as initially reporter.
Perry passed away on March 4 as a result of a massive stroke at a hospital in Burbank, California. The late actor's death certificate says he suffered from the stroke five days before his death.
TMZ reports Luke's body was transported to Dickson, Tennessee, where he was buried Monday, March 11.
The 52-year-old had a farm in Vanleer. Neighbors say the star would come to his farm to catch a break from Los Angeles.
Perry was often spotted buying feed for his livestock in downtown Dickson or having dinner at Sisters Restaurant.
People in the small town tell FOX 17 News they didn't know the actor too well, but say they will miss seeing him around.
