Colder tonight as showers could become flurries in the valley and snow showers at the higher elevations of the Plateau and Blue Ridge Mtns. Some light accumulation is possible at those higher spots during the night (heavy though in the Smoky Mtns). Breezy and chilly Wednesday with highs only in the upper 40s. A possible freeze Wednesday Night with lows near 32. Temperatures should warm back to the 60s late week. Some showers could return for the week and into the weekend.
TONIGHT: Showers at times and colder. Some snow showers at the higher elevations of the Plateau and Blue Ridge/Smoky Mtns. Slushy accumulations are possible. . An overnight low in the mid/upper 30s (near freezing mountains)
WEDNESDAY: Some flurries valley early and any mountain snow showers ending. Breezy, cold and drier the rest of the day with highs in the upper 40s.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Clearing and colder with an overnight low from 30-32.
THURSDAY: Sunny. Milder through the afternoon with highs in the mid 50s.
