Brandon is an Atlanta native, but working at NewsChannel 9 is not his first job in Tennessee. He graduated from Maryville College in 2001. He majored in Writing and Communications and played football, earning Division III All-American Honorable Mention honors.

Brandon has a versatile media background with more than 10 years of experience. He spent the last 2 years at WAGA FOX 5 in Atlanta as a Multiplatform Content Producer. Before that, he worked for 3 years as an anchor/reporter for WRWR TV 38 in Warner Robins, and even worked as the color analyst for the Mercer Bears basketball team.

He got his start in newspaper, working for a year in Missouri right out of college. He spent 6 years as a news and sports writer for an Atlanta area publication. He also did some talk radio in Atlanta and Warner Robins.

Brandon is an avid sports fan, but he feels news provides the best opportunity to make a difference, which is why he got into journalism in the first place. He believes a more informed public makes better decisions, and he enjoys the chance to tell a new story each day.

His wife, Leslie, is a school teacher. They have two dogs, Rampage and Charlie.

Brandon loves the beauty of Chattanooga, and is excited to explore all it has to offer.
