Sophomore quarterback Jacob Eason is leaving the University of Georgia.

After getting hurt in the first game of the season against Appalachian State, he did not start again.

Freshman Jake Fromm took over.

Coming out of high school, Eason was the Gatorade National Player of the Year.

He was rated as the number one pocket passer in the country.

The Seattle Times reported Tuesday he's expected to go to Washington.

He's from a Seattle suburb.

Eason himself has not said where he is going, but if he goes to an FBS school, he'll have to sit out a year.
