A Chattanooga woman says she lost her baby after she was brutally beaten up by a group of people on Monday.

The woman, who asked only to go by Shaaylahh, says she was visiting a friend in Alton Park Village when it happened.

The beating was caught on camera and uploaded to Facebook. In it, you can see Shaaylahh being dragged down the stairs and outside the house.

In the background, you can hear someone yelling "push her down the stairs."

Eventually, Shaaylahh says she lost consciousness while she was being kicked in the head over and over.

Shaaylahh says she went to the hospital and found out she lost her baby. She was five months pregnant.

Thursday, she was in a lot of pain. Most of her injuries are to her face and head.

Latresea Gustus lives nearby and got the call to take Shaaylahh to the hospital.

"It looked like she could've lost her eye," she said.

Gustus says the fight happened at her brother's house and that he didn't know the attack was going to happen to Shaaylahh.

"What gives someone the right to come in someone else's house or apartment to fight someone else," Gustus said.

The video has now been viewed thousands of times.

Chattanooga police say they are investigating the assault and have seen the Facebook video.

Police also say they have a suspect.
