Roy Moore arrives at Alabama polling place on horseback

U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, galloped to his polling place in Gallant, Ala. (WBMA)

GALLANT, Ala. (Sinclair Broadcast Group) - U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore on Tuesday morning galloped to his polling place -- literally. The embattled Alabama Republican was captured on video arriving at the Gallant voting location on horseback.

Donning a black cowboy hat, Moore trotted in on a brown and white horse to cast his ballot in the race against Democrat Doug Jones.

Moore, 70, is facing numerous decades-old allegations of sexual misconduct against teen girls when he was in his early 30s. He has repeatedly denied the accusations.

He told reporters at his polling place Tuesday, "The people will answer these allegations this evening at the booth. We're done with that."

Moore has earned the support of President Donald Trump, who tweeted Tuesday, "The people of Alabama will do the right thing. Doug Jones is Pro-Abortion, weak on Crime, Military and Illegal Immigration, Bad for Gun Owners and Veterans and against the WALL. Jones is a Pelosi/Schumer Puppet. Roy Moore will always vote with us. VOTE ROY MOORE!"
