The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) announced Friday that a grand jury has indicted a man for a murder that took place almost two years ago.

Sheriff Jimmy Harris says 31-year-old Jason Lee Loudermilk was indicted in the murder case of Kenneth DeWayne Shaw back in November of 2015.

Loudermilk was in Jackson County Jail on unrelated charges when the DCSO received the grand jury indictment.

He has since been transported to the DeKalb County Detention Center.

Sherrif Harris says, "Because this is a Grand Jury indictment and we do not have any further information on this case.”

Depend on us for more details as we learn them.
