A Chattanooga man has been arrested on several charges, including sexual battery and possessing a handgun while under the influence, after an incident at a local bar.

Chattanooga police responded to a call of forcible fondling at the Chattanooga Billiard Club (CBC) around 2:40 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10th.

CBC employees told officers there was a black man wearing a leather jacket who had a gun inside the bar.

Officers spoke with the woman who called in the incident. She says she and a group of co-workers had been drinking and talking about weapons when the suspect came up and showed them a black revolver from his jacket pocket.

The woman told officers that the man touched her butt, at which point she put him in a headlock, twisting his arms behind his back and saying "Do not touch my butt."

She told officers that the man got mad and started yelling, but at no point did he verbally threaten people with his gun or pull it out maliciously.

Authorities arrested 31-year-old Dameyne Dixson. Police say he seemed to be under the influence, and that he admitted to drinking a pitcher of beer and having a black Taurus revolver in his jacket pocket.

Dameyne Trammell Dixon was charged with sexual battery, possessing a firearm with intent to go armed, and possession of a handgun while under the influence.

Dixon was taken to jail on $6,000 bond.
