Youth and Family Development Center seeks money for roof restoration
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. —
A Chattanooga department that serves thousands of inner-city families is in need of a new roof.
The Youth and Family Development Center on West 12th Street needs about $161,000 for restoration.
Tuesday, the Chattanooga City Council met to discuss the restoration.
The rood was replaced over a dozen years ago.
In the past two to three years, several patches were put in place to keep the roof from leaking.
