President Donald Trump took aim at Senator Bob Corker again on Twitter Tuesday morning.

The tweet, an apparent response to an interview Senator Corker had with the New York Times.

President Trump said quote: "The Failing @nytimes set Liddle' Bob Corker up by recording his conversation. Was made to sound a fool, and that's what I am dealing with!"

Senator Corker told the New York Times on Sunday that President Trump was treating his office like β€œa reality show,” and could set the nation β€œon the path to World War III.”

This after President Trump sent a series of tweets directed at the Republican senator Sunday morning, saying Corker "begged" him his endorsement for re-election.

An hour later Sunday morning, Senator Corker tweeted the President, calling the White House an "adult day care" and saying that someone had "missed their shift this morning."

Last month, Senator Corker announced that he would not be running for his Senate seat after his current term expires at the end of 2018.
